Our colourful packaging started with a trip to Korea in April 2026, and a lot of lovely stationery, art supplies and bookshops.

All those little things made me want to create again. I shared a short video about the packaging in September, and wanted to share a little more of the story here too.

A little inspiration from Korea

There was so much to look at: illustrated cards, shelves of notebooks, stickers and pots full of colourful pens. The photos below are a few little glimpses from that trip.

After that inspiration, I started sketching and playing around on my iPad. I let myself make mistakes and try things out. Those little experiments became the packaging your Pepper Grey orders arrive in.

From little drawings to your order

If you look closely at the packaging, you’ll spot a few little messages: “Um... you have greyt taste” and “Let’s make some greyt memories together.” There are flowers, wavy shapes and plenty of colour, too.

The photo at the top shows me holding the finished packaging, the designs up close, and how they look with our collars inside. It’s a little peek at how those drawings became something you can hold in your hands.

What began with stationery and bookshops in Korea is now part of the parcels that find their way to you and your dogs. A little joy, before you even open it 🥰

Creating without Pepper

Creating without Pepper here has felt different. Finding these little glimmers of joy, and getting to share them with you, means a lot.
