For the longest time, we had hoped to adopt. Earlier this year, that dream quietly became real. It’s safe to say we loved Wendy even before we met her.
When we arrived at the kennels, everything felt busy and loud. Dogs barking. People moving. Energy everywhere. But Wendy’s kennel was different — quiet and still. Then a shy little head peeked out from around the corner, and in that moment, something settled in our hearts. We knew she was ours.
